SECOND WEEK OF SCHOOL INTERNSHIP@ GHSS THIRUNALLOOR

                  The second week of teaching practice was completed. This week was very busy when compared to the last week. The first day of teaching practice of second week was  a sad day for me and Athira because Manila miss left the school and as a substitute new teacher was arrived. Manila miss was very supportive to us. Today our counsellor Ammu ashok's birthday was celebrated by us. In the morning 2 nd hour I had a period in 9 th class I gave them notes today instead of taking the class.
                  The second day of teaching practice of second week was not so much busy day. I relaxed this day there was no too much work for us. The speciality of the day was children's day(Nov 14) there was no programmes were conducted in school. During afternoon me and Athira went to college for signing the lesson plan with the permission of headmaster.. In the college we met our principal,she gave us necessary advice about writing records and blog updating.
                   The third day of teaching practice of second week was a hard day for us. Today I got 2 periods for 8th and 9th class. I completed 3 lesson plans today. For 8th class I took the topic "Reflection from spherical mirror". I included 3 activities in this lesson to show that concave and convex mirror obey the laws of reflection. The experiment included the laser torch, concave and convex mirror fixed in cardboard. The activities in the class was very much interesting to the pupils. They also participated in doing experiments. For a comparison plane mirror also taken to the class to show the angle of incidence and angle of reflection are equal. For the 9th standard students I took the topics "Acids" and "alkali". To teach acids an experiment was included along with ICT the experiment was done by  blue litmus paper,calcium carbonate,dil.HCl. And also taught about some examples of acids seen in our daily life i.e Acid rain,formation of nitric acid etc. In the lesson alkali the experiment included with calcium oxide,water, and red litmus paper along with ICT, chart . Pupils understood the class well, the experiments shown in the class was very interactive and made them interest in learning chemistry.
                    The fourth day of teaching practice of second week was a good day according to me. I had class in 8th standard students on the topic of "Principal focus of concave and convex mirror".Today Aji sir was absent, so I took the permission from Shilaja miss to take necessary equipments for taking the class. I included chart and ICT also in the lesson plan. Pupils were interested in the class. As the chapter was tough I adviced pupil to study the definitions well for asking question. Pupil obeyed the instruction.
                     The fifth day of teaching practice of second week was an auspicious day. Bibby miss and Sangeetha miss came to school observe the class of us. Bibby miss gave us necessary advice about the writing of records. Both the teachers observed the class of all, today I didn't have the class, so I sat in staffroom and did my work. This day we all teacher trainees got a new duty of taking remedial class for 8th standard students(Sredha), 9th standard students(Navaprabha), 10th standard students are to be taken. So we all prepared a time table and gave it to the concern teachers. Also during next week we should take students for competitions also in kalavoor school.
                    This entire week was different. We were opted to do many important works in school. I think it is the time to show our sincerity on our duty with a great respect. We developed a sense of good personality,humanity, and helping mentality.
